DOMAINE D’EXPERTISE-RECHERCHE :
Mes travaux de recherche ont pour objectifs de contribuer à l’amélioration des espèces d’intérêts aquacoles (invertébrés marins et poissons). J’ai développé des outils de diagnostics immunologiques et moléculaires pour la caractérisation des principaux agents pathogènes de mollusques bivalves et de crevettes ainsi que des cultures cellulaires d’huître, Crassostrea gigas , pour étudier les interactions hôte/pathogènes (protozoaires et bactéries). Ces travaux m’ont conduit à développer les techniques de transgénèse chez les invertébrés marins et à participer aux recherches contribuant à comprendre, à l’échelle cellulaire et moléculaire, la réponse immunitaire des huîtres creuses  et des crevettes pénéides. De plus, j’ai dirigé des recherches sur l’étude des effecteurs de l’osmorégulation d’une part chez le loup, Dicentrarchus labrax, pour comprendre leur potentiel d’adaptation à des régimes alimentaires à base de composants d’origine végétale et d’autre part chez les crevettes, Macrobrachium pantanalense et M. amazonicum, et Litopenaeus stylirostris pour étudier leur adaptation en eau douce / eau de mer au cours du développement.
