DOMAINE D’EXPERTISE-RECHERCHE :
Mes travaux de recherche s’articulent autour de trois axes principaux :
(i) la compréhension de l’influence des facteurs historiques et contemporains sur l’histoire évolutive des populations naturelles;
(ii) l’étude des réponses adaptatives des organismes en milieu naturel face aux changements environnementaux et
(iii) l’identification des mécanismes moléculaires sous-jacents à ces processus adaptatifs. J’utilise des approches intégratives couplant l’étude des populations naturelles, des expériences en milieux contrôlés et des outils empruntés à la biologie moléculaire. Mes modèles de prédilections sont les espèces invasives et les pathogènes (ré)émergents.
J’ai rejoint le laboratoire IHPE (Interactions-Hôtes-Parasites-Environnements) en Septembre 2016. Je souhaite développer des projets visant à étudier la dynamique évolutive du genre Schistosoma d’Afrique, des vers trématodes responsable des bilharzioses.
D’autre part, je poursuis mes travaux sur la dynamique éco-évolutive d’un copépode ectoparasite invasif et sur la réponse des populations de poissons hôtes dans les rivières en France, en collaboration avec Simon Blanchet (CR1 – CNRS) et Géraldine Loot (Professeur – Université Paul Sabatier – Toulouse).
